A technique revisited...
365 Cards - Day 149
Sponging
This will also fit in with the challenge over at Charisma Cardz #29 'Tag It'
As you can see from my card this is a trip back in time. It is that long since I've done any sponging the technigue has not evolved for me. I daresay this needs further time looking into but this is my quick offering for today.
I shall *whisper* that I dug out some old peel-offs and placed them randomly on a piece of white card.
I then sponged with Adirondack Butterscotch, Pesto and Red Pepper until I was happy. On removing the said peel-offs the pale shadowy images are left behind.
I tore this piece of card and edged it in Adirondack Ginger.
This was stuck to the green base card which looks like Bazzill, but not sure.
I made another piece of card into a tag, placed a Basic Grey sticky Letter 'F' and sponged with the same colours again. I then added a rub-on to marry the letter. I found it hard to apply the rub-on over the ink. :/
This was then placed onto a piece of chocolate brown card and cut around. Made a hole with a punch and added a piece of misc. brown loopy ribbon which I also put down the side of the card, hopefully to bring it all together.
This looks like something I would have made 10 years ago lol!!

Good idea with the peeloffs, Jenny. I think I'm going to try a resist technique with this one... once I get home from work. LOL (I really shouldn't be blogging right now)
Jenny - I think you did a great job on this card. What music is playing on your blog? Is it one of the songs from the movie Twilight?
OOOOOOO AHHHHH, I love that, and thanks for the idea, yours is just beautiful.

Such a lovely card, Jenny! Love the technique you've used with the peel-offs to resist the ink... wonderful!
This looks great- don't put yourself down! Good to revisit old techniques every now and then.
