I haven't made a card for a challenge for a couple of days :-O so It's good when blogs are kind enough to let you combine.
So here is my take on the theme 'Lilac & Blue' over at
Colour Create wk 9 with an optional extra of swirls and ribbon and a lovely sketch at
Truly Scrumptious entitled Flower Power.
The ovals I cut in my 'Bug' using the scalloped ovals Large - the 2 outer ones being 1 size smaller than the main. On this I mounted the fabulous Tilda image which was coloured with watercolour pencils and the wings glittered with Stickles 'Icicle'.
The piece of lilac card across the centre was cut using my new Fiskars Scalloped border punch which is super. No more mis-cuts using the scissors.
I added a bit of bling to the sentiment by putting flat-backed pearls in place of the dots on the i's
