Super Sketchy Sunday - Day 106

Well the start of another week over on 365 Cards, I wonder how many I'll get done this week.
And while doing it I remembered how much I dislike heat embossing white pwder on dark card :-( No matter how hard I tried with my tiny paintbrush I couldn't get rid of all the stray powder, especially hard with a sentiment.
I came up with the colour scheme after finding the only large oval I had cut was in red, but there always has to be a starting place.
The paper is a scrap piece.
The sentiment is by Clarity Stamps
The flat backed pearls by Papermania.
Everything else from my stash

This is very pretty. I also love the pearls! I hear you on the embossing. I love how it looks, but I feel like I never do it "right."

Great card Jenny.

Now . . . about embossing . . . get an old sock and put some talcum powder inside it, then rub it over your cardstock BEFORE you stamp and emboss. Voila . . . a cheap anti-static solution. Watch those stray specks disappear!

I have an anti-static bag for the job :-)
