January Challenge
First challenge of the year on the forum was 'LOVE', with St Valentine's Day not far away I daresay, but as that holds no interest for me I entered this to be used as an anniversary card for a family member. Made joint 3rd place which really pleased me.
The image was from a sheet of Blue Cardigan vintage images. The papers were K & Co and the Love sticker was from a sheet of Pebbles Real Life Bits and Pieces, buttons, ribbon and lace from my stash.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 36
Mojo Monday Week 70 - belated
Mojo Monday Week 71
Eyelets
Forum buddy Chocoholic set for this weeks Friday Challenge the theme of 'eyelets' and as the dust on my box of eyelets resembled a duvet thought it a brilliant idea to dust them off and remember how hard it is for me to use my Silent Setter.
The circular one was done using a cd to draw the circle around in soft pencil, flowers were punched out from scrap...waste nothing, me..... and were set equally spaced around the circle. The soft pencil lines can then be rubbed away. Eyelets were set in the centre of each flower and any suitable embellishment or sentiment can be used in the centre.
The 2nd card was made using all old stash. Kay & Co papers, Penny Black image from a swap and the sentiment stamp is by DoCrafts.

Card Sketch A Day No. 151
The Bionic Woman Rides Again
A couple of weeks before Christmas saw me in hospital to have total right knee replacement, hence my absence from my blog. After coming home I had intended to throw myself into my crafting unaware that I would feel so down and woolly brained, and also sitting at the computer for longer than 5 mins was a no-no!. I was also convinced the surgeon had removed my mojo too. :-O
So now 6 weeks after the event I am starting to feel more myself but still have to limit the time spent sitting at the computer.
I have joined a couple of card challenge blogs and until I find out how to load everything needed to join in these in the proper manner I will just have to download (or is it upload lol!) a couple of my general cards I have made recently.
