Feeling Green

Managed to combine 3 challenges with this card which is unknown territory for me. Feeling Green on Daring Cardmakers/ Card Sketchaday #152 and my cardmaking forum's Friday Challenge which was Get Well combining a circle or scallop
I do actually like green which seems to be some cardmakers nightmare. Card, paper and jewels from my stash, the rik-rak is Bazzill, the rub-on sentiment is by Scenic Route Paper Co., and the flowers are Prima Forever Flowers and Fresh Bubbles

Laura's Sketch 19

This was a lovely sketch which I found on 2 Sketches 4 You. I just had to have a go....as you do. :-)
The delightful image and sentiment were sent to me by a crafting buddy and were just screaming to be used, and thought them ideal for this sketch. The papers used were Basic grey, ribbon and card stock from my stash.

Music and Dance

This was the title of this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge and was really pleased as I have had this image from a swap for years and never used it. So this was just perfect. The image was coloured with Sakura gel pens mounted on various shades of Bazzill cardstock. The stamped image in the Nestie scalloped circle was a freebie with a very old Craft Stamper magazine. The brads were from my stash. The very faint stamped image on the middle back panel was a stamp by Anna Griffin All Night Media...a huge music score background stamp. I stamped it in Adirondack 'Rust'.

Sketch Saturday #37

Another great sketch and enjoyed deciding what colours I was going to use after doing an all white card for the forum challenge. [after up-loading realised I had chosen the colours of the sketch...how spooky]
The papers used were K & Co Tim Coffey 'Travel/Vacation' which I overstamped with 'wishes take flight' stamp by Stampendous in Rust Adirondack...as always...lol!! and the floral sheet was from K & Co 'Roam'pad., which was attached with 4 velvet brads from my stash. The embelishment was K & Co K-Ology Grand Adhesions mounted on 2 scalloped circles cut and embossed using my 'Bug'. Pearl gems were added for extra decoration.

Card Sketch A Day #159

I really liked this sketch. Totally made from Kay & Co papers Travel/Vacation. The shell stamp is from Imagina and the ink used is Adirondack rust.

Friday Sketchers Week no. 38

For some reason I struggled with this sketch, probably because there was a lot of blank space. The papers I used were a mixture of Basic Grey and K & Co. The tree stamp is by Snag 'em Stampsand the rabbit stamp by Clarity Stamps and the jewels and ribbon were from my stash. I inked the edges of the papers with Colorbox chalk in a pale blue and Impress Old Rose.

Cute Card Thursday

Challenge 46 - MetallicaThis appealed to me as Metallica are one of my fave bands of all time...LOL!!
The card had to be embellished with metal in some way, I chose a small heart and 3 brads on the tag and a larger metal heart with wired pearls as the main element.
The cat stamp is Pink Cat Studio and the rest of the elements are all from my stash. The picture is poor I'm afraid as I couldn't scan the card because of the bulky embelishment...my photography I will blame on my old camera. :-)

Hooray for the Snow

Well that's what Dexter thought when I let him out the other evening, he had a whale of a time skidding around in it.....3rd pic
The 2nd pic is the back garden and the 1st the front garden, where the sun can just be seen coming up behind the bungalow at the right background.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Photobucketsrc="http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll179/pennyblackchallenge/PBSC-small-logo.jpg"/>
Week 34 ~ Circle Card
Enjoyed doing this as I could dig out my Fiskars circle cutter which lies unused as most of my tools do. The paper is Basic Grey Lily Kate.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch No 37

Great sketch and first time I've used a Tilda image out of my image swap box. Everything used is old stash except the flower brads which I recently purchased from Eyelet Outlet..they had a brilliant sale. I sponged around the edge of the image with Adirondack Denim to soften the edge. Getting braver with my colours here.

Mojo Monday No 72

Pleased I'm managing to keep up with these, so far, anyway. I'm determined I'm not going to lose my new found mojo.
Enjoyed this sketch, but intended to punch some holes along the scalloped edges of the card, then I stuck them on....doh!!
The image is Penny Black, the green card is Bazzill, the paper and large fabric covered brad is Laura Ashley and the flowers are Prima. Ribbon, pebble word and pink card just stash finds.
The scan is poor I'm afraid because of the large brad, I'm rubbish at taking photos of my cards. Need some hints and tips methinks.

Sketch Saturday # 36

At last I think I've sussed how to do all the links for these challenges. Please forgive me if I've messed up. :-)
This was a taxing sketch and took a long while and plenty of grey cell activity. I just wish I could combine different colours and not play safe .
Everything used is oddments out of my stash and an image from a swap. The delicate watercolouring has been bleached by the scan unfortunately.

January Challenge

First challenge of the year on the forum was 'LOVE', with St Valentine's Day not far away I daresay, but as that holds no interest for me I entered this to be used as an anniversary card for a family member. Made joint 3rd place which really pleased me.
The image was from a sheet of Blue Cardigan vintage images. The papers were K & Co and the Love sticker was from a sheet of Pebbles Real Life Bits and Pieces, buttons, ribbon and lace from my stash.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 36

Loved this sketch, everything used was out of my stash. K & Co paper, Prima flowers and Kaisercraft Basics rub-ons. The stamped image was from a forum swap.

Mojo Monday Week 70 - belated

Only just caught up with this, enjoyed this sketch a lot. Pity I haven't anyone to send the card to. lol!!
Everything used is out of my stash, collected over the last 10 years or so.
The only new element is the black pinked circle which is my newest Nestability buy, love them.

Mojo Monday Week 71

I am really enjoying using my new found mojo to do these sketches thanks to everyone involved.
The stamp used is by Hero Arts, the image of which I watercoloured using Marvy Le Plume Vintage colours, and the papers are all from old stash of Kay & Co. Satin ribbon out of my stash box too.
