Pantomime

Over at Winter Wonderland #24 the challenge was either the given sketch or Pantomime
Oh! I just had to do the latter.
It has been many a laong year since I've been to one, but manage to catch something on TV over the Christmas Season and I just love the slapstick humour.

This is such a wonderful drawing I found a few years ago on the net so don't know where from I'm afraid. These Ugly Sisters are just perfect.
A plain and simple card so as not to detract from the lovely artwork.
I used ProMarkers to colour.
I hand wrote the text which brings it into the here and now.
The velvet brads are by Doodlebug

Harvest

A late card for me for 365 Cards Day 205. - Color Scheme
Instead of making my card early evening as I always do I had to take to my bed. Rather poorly with a tummy complaint I have :(...I would definitely have preferred crafting...eeeewwww!!!!!

So for this lovely colour combo I chose papers from Basic Grey 'Offbeat' and 'Indian Summer'
I chose a great sketch from Sketch Saturday, always a good starting point.
The great image is a download from Bee Crafty
I coloured in with PM's Pumpkin, Berry Red, Canary, Emerald, Raw Sienna and Cool Grey.
The ribbon is SU 'Tempting Turquoise'
The tag, brads, base card and gem flowers from my stash.

Off to catch up on todays>>>>>>>>>

Snowflakes in September

Our Forum had a card kit swap and I used all the bits from Looby to make this card and thought this would be lovely to put in for the challenge over at Allsorts 19 as this was the theme
So I am unable to list the ingredients used, sorry.
All I can tell you is that I used ProMarkers to colour and Doodlebug Sugar Coating on the hat and pom pom.

Autumn

My favourite time of the year, the wonderful colours, the smells, the bird song changes and everything has a golden glow and mellow fruitfullness about it.
So I got this great download which is so cute. I have looked and can't see where it's from, sorry.
I used PM's to colour the image
The papers are from a new set of My Mind's Eye 'Bloom & Grow'
The card id DCWV
The frame is the offcut when I have cut out a Nestie oval, don't throw anything away me.
The leaf embellies, sticky letters and base card are from my stash
The great sketch is from Friday Sketchers 70 and will also be great for the Forum September Comp. which is Autumn...what else!

Peace

I have a couple of Christmas cards made now, thanks to the fabulous downloads from Willow Designs.
They had a great sketch this last week at Willow Sketchie Challenge and I turned it on it's side so the papers could be read.
I used PM's to colour
The red shimmery card is Stardream from Joanna Sheen and the ribbon is DCWV.
I altered the angle of the peel-off sentiment to fit
I cut and embossed around the image with my 'Bug' and with the die still in place swooshed chalk around the edge to give a bit of dimension

Hexagon

365 Cards Day 199 - Shape Up - Hexagon
Hands up who has forgotten how to draw a hexagon!!!!!...ah! good, glad to see I'm not on my own then.
After lots of measuring, calculating, times tables, rulers, erasers and pencils I gave up and found a piece of paper with a resemblance of a hexagon in the pattern so I could cut around it, another cheat I suppose..lol!!
The papers are from a 6 x 6 pad by Papermania 'For Him'
The great image was a free download by Dustin Pike called 'April Showers' such a cute bee.
I coloured him with PM's, and placed him on the hexagonal piece of paper, matted and layered with co-ordinating cardstock.
The sentiment sticker is out of my stash.
I also sparkled up his wings, the puddle and drops of rain with a clear sparkly Sakura Gel Pen

You're Sweet

A fabulous sketch over at CCEE and a lovely colour combo over at Passion for Promarakers 16, so I had to combine the two.
The colours of the PM's to be used this week were Sandstone & Blue Pearl a lovely duo. I also used Blossom/Rose Pink/Cool Grey 1/Cinnamon and Cornflower for depth (I hope) I'm not the greatest colourist.
The lovely image was sent to me by our Secret Fairy Godmother on the forum, she's good like that :)...she blesses peeps over and over.
The papers used were from the 6 x 6 pad from Kay & Co 'Hydrangea Stripe' which picked up the colours beautifully. The base card and die cut circles were cut from Bazzill, the sentiment stamp, the gems and ribbon from my stash.
I just love these colours together I'm going to have to make another.

Well that was lucky....while I was in the middle of this the electricity cut out and I thought I had lost it all. Well done Blogger for saving it all. I think I have a dodgy microwave oven, well it is one of the originals from the 70's...do you think I need to replace it? ...lol!!!

A Lovely Day

70 years ago today war was declared between Great Britain & Germany but 62 years ago today at 3 mins past midnight I came into the world a much better reason to remember this date methinks. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me. :)
What I day I have spent too. I had many wonderful cards from my crafting buddies and lovely presents from my family and buddies too, and to celebrate the day I met up with my cousins for lunch and I was later presented with a chocolate birthday cake and all the candles, the first ever for me. So a lovely day was had by all. If I find out how to upload the pics from my camera I will show you.

And, you guessed it, I even found time to do my usual card for
365 Cards Day 187 - Label It.
So a label of some kind had to feature on the card. Because I have had a hectic day and I am a very tired bunny this is a quickie card.
I had these lovely labels by ek Success to use on my scrapbook pages for my furry companions but one of them would be ideal for this challenge.
The great stamp is by Hobby art and I just used a Promarker in Ruby to give it a pop of red and added gems to the centres of the flowers too.
I added the red line down the left hand side to balance it, as the stamped image looked off centre.
So that's me for today, I am soooo tired.
I bid you good night and God Bless.
