Orange, Yellow & Green....

This was the theme for this week's challenge over at Colour Createwhere a crafting buddy Amanda is guest designer, well done hun xx...I combined it with Card Sketch A Day #190
Although the sketch looked pretty straightforward trying to use the colours given in a set sketch had me ripping most things off once.
Eventually I came up with something. Orange card, ribbons, domed embellies from my stash. The stamped image which I coloured using Sakura Gelly Roll Gloss pens was from a swap. I edged the orange scalloped circle with green glue pen and cut out the sentiment from a sheet of paper. The ribbon is actually 2, one stuck on top of the other with the left over piece tied around the chipboard shape which is by Papermania. The papers are from a 6 x 6 pad by K & Co 'Kim Hodges Patchwork'. Thanks for looking.

We're Pink & Spotty Again

Here are 2 more cards for the Polka Dot And Pink Challenge over at Card Sketch A Day these are for #183 and 184
All items were from bits and bobs found in my stash which I love to do. To not have to cut into a new sheet of paper is great. And I really must make time to do something with all my tiny bits and pieces...I feel ATC's coming on. :-)

Polka Dot & Pink

This was the theme for Card Sketch A Day challenge #181. Found this quite a challenge and to get the best from it I suggest you view it at an angle. Watching the Ireland/England Rugby did nothing for my placing. lol!!
The Polka Dot paper is by Doodlebug Designs, spotty paper by Kay & Co., Tim Coffey 'Young Girl', the brads from Queen & Co., sticky ribbon by DoCraft and the sentiment from Bo Bunny. Everything else is from my stash.

Friday Friends

Well as soon as I saw this sketch by Card Sketch A Day #180 I was intrigued by how I would do it. The paper sketch in the centre I thought being the main focal, so searched and came up with a page out of my ancient Filofax...remember those? With it being so old I then thought vintage and so the rest of the card came together. The stamps used are by Hero Arts and Papercrafts4you. The paper is from a pad by Plaid - Paper Journeys 'Romance'. A small piece of brown Basic Grey stiff paper was used to mount the torn page onto. The ink used was Adirondack Vintage sepia. The stamp ephemera and paper clip were from my stash.

Pretty in Pink

I made this card for Card Sketch A Day #179. A very simple sketch, I thought, until I came to do it and took quite a while. The stamp used is by Hero Arts, mounted on Bazzill Basics card. The paper is Doodlebug Swiss Dot with Prima flowers. Jewels and ribbon from my stash. The little sentiment circles were punched from a sheet of Glamour Prints paper by Dovecrafts.

Get Well Soon

It was lovely to be able to combine 2 challenges for this card. The sketch came from Card Sketch A Day #175 and the challenge was for Penny Black Saturday Challenge
I love this cute Penny Black stamp and the flourish stamp is from an unmounted plate by StampAttack. Flowers are by Prima, everything else from my stash. But the sentiment is peel-off words. I do find these small words very useful. Little gems were added to the centres of the stamped image flowers for a bit of sparkle.

Card Sketch A Day #170

Saw this sketch and new I just had to do it so I could use my new Nestabilities Labels 1 which I adore.
The papers are Basic Grey and Papermania, and the sentiment stamp, which I love, is Clarity/Imagina which was stamped using Adirondack Lettuce ink pad.
The white scalloped edges are Bazzill, jewels and ribbon from stash. Quite pleased as I do seem to prefer the monochrome look, which seems more restful. Although when I see others using such gorgeous arrays of coloured lusciousness I admire their ability to diversify.
