It's All White....

First I will apologise, as always, for the rubbish scan of this card. Bulky and white do not bode well for a good scan.
Good news though, I have made a light box. 12" x 12" with all the sides covered with thick tracing paper. I have a couple of lamps so will give it a whirl tomorrow. I maybe need a decent camera though, I won't tell you how many pixels it is...oh! the shame of being in a technological time warp!!!
So without further ado I give you the following card which is for
365 Cards Day 246 - Super Sketchy Sunday, the given sketch
Stamping Sisters in Christ #11 - Pamela's challenge is to create something about when God is "unseen"
Color Create Ch. 30 - 'All White'

Ingredients:-

Monday Mayhem

I will have to make this a quickie as it's 1.35 am and I'm soooo tired and I wanted to do 3 cards in my 365 Cards catch up but only managed 2
The 2 I did are for
Day 233 - Favourite fabric

I don't have any favourite fabric or furnishing, I live very frugally. I do have this amazing huge painting on my wall though, it is about 6ft x 2.5 ft and is acrylic on canvas. I love it.
I managed to find some freebie downloaded paper which sort of reminds me of it.
The stamp is by Blue Cardigan and says it all.....'ART washes from the soul the dust of everyday life' - Picasso
Base Kraft card - SU
Ribbon from stash.
Day 239 - Super Sketchy Sunday
and
Winter Wonderland wk 22 - Open Theme

Still on the Blue Christmas here. A Hard sketch I thought, and didn't do it as much justice as some of the girls,
Old Christmas papers by DCWV I think
Everything old and from my stash
Drunk my cocoa so off to my bed
G'night peeps xxxx

Super Sketchy Sunday

And here we are again at the start of another week , where does time go?
At 365 Cards today we had the usual great sketch to follow which has the ability to turn round and bite you on the butt when you think you have it sussed.
Why do I find these simpler sketches sooooo hard?
It started with a die cut pocket by Linda Maron 'Mod Designs', well it looked sort of diamond shaped!....shut your eyes and imagine..lol!!
Then I found some paper bits out of my leftovers box to match the colours, the green being Kay & Co...aha! it was the edge piece with the name on the back....that's a bonus.
And an Anna Griffin card blank in lilac was the perfect base.
Some purple organza ribbon tied in a bow so I could use the tails and I had the sketch sorted.
But I added a Linda Maron metal word doodad which says 'Dream' to hold the ribbon tails down and inside the flap I used some Doodlebug rub-ons to say 'take time to..'
So there is a slight deviation from the sketch, but only a tiny one and there we have it a start of another week over at 365 Cards
